How do I open a template?
Download the .pbit or .pbix file, open it in Power BI Desktop (free from Microsoft), and follow the on-screen prompts.
How do I connect my own data?
In Power BI Desktop choose Transform data, then Data source settings, and change the source to your own. Keep the column names the template expects (the template page lists them).
The visuals show errors after I changed the source.
Usually a column name or data type differs. Open Transform data and compare the column names and types with the sample data.
How do I change the colours?
Use View, then Themes, then Browse for themes and pick the theme JSON, or use the free theme generator.
Can I publish it to my company workspace?
Yes, within your licence type. See the licence page.
Where is my download?
In your account under My Templates. Updates appear there too.
I need something custom.
See customization add-ons on the template page, or describe your project.
