Leaving Tableau or MicroStrategy

We also work in Tableau and MicroStrategy. Migration is mostly about reconciling numbers, not redrawing charts.

1. Inventory List dashboards, usage, data sources and owners. Many reports are unused and can be retired.
2. Prioritise Migrate by business value, not alphabetically.
3. Rebuild Recreate the model properly in Power BI rather than copying old workarounds.
4. Reconcile Prove the numbers match, line by line, with sign-off from the report owners.
5. Retire Switch users over and switch the old licence off.
